Terms of Use for MyPostiz

1. Scope and Operator
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of MyPostiz, a self-hosted instance of the open-source social media management platform Postiz, operated by NorthByte Studio (Leonardo Granetto) and hosted on Hostinger infrastructure.
By accessing or using MyPostiz, you agree to these terms in full. If you do not agree, you must not use the service.
2. Access and Eligibility
MyPostiz is a private, invitation-only service. Access is granted solely at the discretion of the operator. You must not share your login credentials with others. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
3. Permitted Use
You may use MyPostiz to:
- Schedule and publish content to your own connected social media accounts
- Draft, manage, and organize social media posts
- Connect and manage your social media accounts via OAuth
4. Prohibited Use
You must not use MyPostiz to:
- Post spam, unsolicited messages, or bulk promotional content in violation of platform rules
- Publish illegal, defamatory, harassing, or otherwise harmful content
- Violate the Terms of Service of any connected social media platform
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the server, database, or other users' data
- Use the service for any commercial purpose without prior written consent from the operator
- Automate access beyond what is provided by the service's own interface
5. Connected Social Media Accounts
You are solely responsible for the social media accounts you connect to MyPostiz and for all content published through them. The operator is not liable for actions taken by social media platforms against your accounts, including suspension or bans resulting from content published via MyPostiz.
You may disconnect your social media accounts at any time. Upon disconnection, the associated OAuth tokens are deleted.
6. Content Ownership
You retain full ownership of all content you create, draft, or schedule within MyPostiz. The operator does not claim any rights to your content and will not use it for any purpose other than operating the service.
7. Service Availability
MyPostiz is provided on a best-effort basis. The operator does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Scheduled maintenance, server issues, or third-party platform outages may temporarily affect the service. The operator is not liable for missed posts or scheduling failures caused by service interruptions.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
MyPostiz is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. The operator makes no guarantees regarding the reliability, accuracy, or fitness of the service for any particular purpose.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NorthByte Studio shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of or inability to use MyPostiz, including but not limited to loss of data, missed posts, or damage to your social media accounts.
10. Termination
The operator reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to MyPostiz at any time, with or without notice, particularly in the event of a breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your data may be deleted after a reasonable retention period.
11. Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated at any time. The updated version will be published on this page with a revised date. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. The place of jurisdiction is Mainz, Germany, to the extent permitted by law.
